I am delighted with my new glasses, the best ones I’ve had prescribed for years. Sandi was delightful, careful and professional, patiently taking her time. We tried varifocals, a first for me, but I could not adjust to them, sadly (no fault of Sandi’s). Sandi had offered to exchange these if not suitable, and she did so with the minimum of fuss. I went to iBuntu on the strengths of their Google reviews ; they live up to every five star rating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, yet still 100% professional and efficient The eye examination is much more comprehensive than you receive elsewhere with everything explained to you. Welcome to iBuntu Opticians, an independent opticians based out of Truro, committed to quality, value and personal service using the latest clinical diagnostic equipment. Stockist of a wide range of designer and affordable lenses and frames.

iBuntu Opticians offer a no rush appointment service, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Sandhya Dharumpal is the resident Optometrist at IBuntu Opticians, with over 20 years experience.

She is has worked in Cornwall since 2005, initially based at the Dollond and Aitchision store on Lemon street and ever since then has fallen in love with Cornwall. Despite having to move away to London for higher Qualifications in Optics, she returned to work as a Locum Optometrist in Cornwall.

Now the circle is complete and she is back again on Lemon street working with passion for her career (just smarter and with more qualifications!)
